After Suneo shows everyone photos of him scuba diving, Doraemon helps Nobita have a scuba diving experience around town by simulating water and attracting fish from a far away coral reef. It gets too dangerous when a shark attacks. The next day they find a strange girl in the bushes. She turns out to be a mermaid princess. They go to visit her kingdom and end up in a battle between the mermaids and the mermen.
