.hack//LOTT is set four years after .hack//Quarantine, it follows the adventures of a pair of twins named Rena and Shugo. After winning a contest, Rena is in possession of a pair of chibi (basically mini) avatars in the design of the legendary .hackers known as Kite and Black Rose. Shugo ends up with the Twilight Bracelet (Note: it is not Kite's version), given to him by Aura.
